Open issues and validation for the 0.4.3 candidate

These changes have automated regression coverage. Field validation is still pending, and older fallback builds do not include them.

| CVs from LaTeX / tight-typography PDFs dropped most dates; some Word CVs stopped reading partway | fixed | Fixed in v0.3.4. FOX3 now recovers the word-spacing that some PDFs (often exported from LaTeX) drop, so your dates come through, and it reads Word CVs with merged table cells all the way to the end. Update to the latest build — what's new. |
| The "update available" notice in the control panel was easy to miss | fixed | Fixed in v0.3.4. A new version now shows as a prominent banner at the top of the control panel, and the update check no longer briefly freezes the panel when it opens. |

When an issue is fixed it's tagged fixed here for one release, then retired to the version history once the next build ships.
V1 development
Thank you to everyone who helped test the beta. The V1 direction includes a desktop interface, an in-app job database, a guided interview with multiple supporting documents, and broader job discovery. CV tailoring and improvements to installation, updates, and localization are also on the roadmap.
These are development plans, not released features or a delivery schedule. Stay tuned for updates as V1 takes shape.
